Actually this sounds familiar to when someone I knew had keys - Cryptic locked them to him for 'suspicious financial activity' and he couldn't sell them. Even though he bought them the same as every other way. He had to use them, Cryptic wouldn't fix
..It does occur to me that sorting events by what supervillain phase D'kera was going through is a totally practical method of time-keeping. Elachi Collaborator Era, Reaper-Style Indoctrination Era, Time-Travel Era, and Clone Era.
It's funny cause long before I joined Argo, Taiv's ship was named Mandukar (it's actually a first name more often than not, but sounds good both ways). After joining here I knew that'd be confusing so I changed it.
You've taken the right first step! Our forums play a large part in what we do-- for passing information, for event planning, and sharing our abundant creativity.
What makes Argo unique as a role-playing guild?
It's hard to find 'good people' to hang out with on the internet; we've cultivated a wholesome environment that treats others with maturity and respect.
For me personally, the OOC 'culture' is fantastic. I don't really feel uncomfortable with my fleetmates or what they're saying/joking about, and wonton profanity is null-- as a woman on the internet, that goes a long way.
We all have other obligations and we all realize that STO isn't at the top of the list. You put in as much as you want to; if you need to take a break, that's fine. If you can only log in once a week, that's fine. Our 'boot' policy is 'three months with no explanation' (one month for new initiates), and even then, if you come back and want in, it's an instant re-invite.
We encourage member contributions-- we're here because we all love stories, and we want to hear yours. Plots and events are not restricted to staff only-- we just ask that you check in with a staff member first for timing and quality assurance.
More fond of forum RP, story writing, or world-building? That's what our forums are for, with our UFP databanks and Captain's Logs.
