So, for the record... all of those communication threads should have been reports, in the reports forum. Since Reports have no to/from information, they could have been done THERE in one thread with an easy title.
I think it would have been better to create one thread named for the topic and have everybody post in there together. Much easier for somebody to then create a single post addressed to all relevant parties and draw the conversation together ...
Just wanted to drop in here a thanks to you folks! I've had a rough month with medical stuff, and I've fallen behind in some stuff 'cuz of it. If I haven't responded to anything please always feel free to PM me!
I'm not a fan of the elongated saucer on the Scott-Class, The Daystrom class however. I could see myself owning. I agree with Eli on the rest, Klingon ones aren't half bad Romulan isn't anything special.
You've taken the right first step! Our forums play a large part in what we do-- for passing information, for event planning, and sharing our abundant creativity.
What makes Argo unique as a role-playing guild?
It's hard to find 'good people' to hang out with on the internet; we've cultivated a wholesome environment that treats others with maturity and respect.
For me personally, the OOC 'culture' is fantastic. I don't really feel uncomfortable with my fleetmates or what they're saying/joking about, and wonton profanity is null-- as a woman on the internet, that goes a long way.
We all have other obligations and we all realize that STO isn't at the top of the list. You put in as much as you want to; if you need to take a break, that's fine. If you can only log in once a week, that's fine. Our 'boot' policy is 'three months with no explanation' (one month for new initiates), and even then, if you come back and want in, it's an instant re-invite.
We encourage member contributions-- we're here because we all love stories, and we want to hear yours. Plots and events are not restricted to staff only-- we just ask that you check in with a staff member first for timing and quality assurance.
More fond of forum RP, story writing, or world-building? That's what our forums are for, with our UFP databanks and Captain's Logs.
Your next step is to fill out an application. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact someone on the admin team:
Or you can join the in-game public channel called 'ArgoRecruiting'. This is Argo's dedicated channel for applicants and allows both the admins to find you easily, as well as giving you an opportunity to talk to some of Argo's senior members if you have questions.
